This is the merenguero’s 18th album.
Regardless of his years of experience and career, Eddy Herrera will always be a “Novato Apostador” (novice gambler), because he always has something new to undertake and learn as an artist. This thought led him to name his new album, which has 13 songs.
“Novato Apostador” is the singer-songwriter’s 18th album, created under the musical production of big names in industry such as Manuel Tejada, Junior Cabrera, Edwin García, Moisés Sánchez, Antonio González and Juan Daniel Montero.
“Y cómo te olvido”, with more than three million plays on YouTube, was the first single from this production which includes other tracks such as “Novato Apostador”, “Si no era yo”, “Te vas de mí”, “La adicta”, “Interesada”, “Tú me querías”, “Nada qué hacer”, “Te lo di todo” et “Así si e’ bueno”.
“As every year, it’s a real pleasure for me to have the joy of being able to offer a new album to all my fans in Latin America. This, number 18 of my artistic career, has new recording elements because we wanted to add a string recording from the Asuncion Philharmonic Orchestra, Paraguay, to two of these songs. I hope that this new album will appeal to everyone and that they can make it their own”, explained Herrera.
Produced by Eddy Herrera under the umbrella of Intermusic, SRL, this album was designed by the following composers: Martín De León, Enghel Mata, Giordano Morel, Kelvin Mejía, Gustavo Matheus, César David Castro, Lanny Pimentel, Delvi Cruz Landestoy and Vicente Alberto Montaño Valdez.
The mixers were Allan Leschhorn, Boris Milán, Antonio González and Sarah Tejada. Mastering by Boris Milán and distribution by Symphony Latino.
