Sting and Shaggy ended their whirlwind NYC trip the same way it began: Performing their new song, “Til A Mawnin” for a live television audience – first on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, then on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
For two full days, both artists brought reggae to the heart of the city, taking over Miss Lily’s 7A Cafe for a lively meet and greet and performance with veteran selector Max Glazer, and diving into the stories behind the music with HOT 97, Entertainment Tonight, The Associated Press, and more. Sting and Shaggy are back! The Grammy-winning duo reunites on “Til A Mawnin”, a tribute to one of the pillars of reggae music: Sound system culture. Produced by Shaggy and Shane Hoosong, the track reimagines Junjo Lawes’ “I’m Not Getting Crazy” riddim, the foundation of dancehall staples voiced by Don Carlos, Yellowman, Frankie Paul, and more. It arrives with a video by Jay Will, ahead of their March 13 co-headlining set at Reggae Rise Up Florida. (VP RECORDS)
