
The exhibition Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe will take place on June 13, 14 and 15 from noon to 8:00 pm at the cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre. This year, the public will be able to visit 62 stands occupied by some one hundred artists. The opening will be held on Thursday June 12 from 7:00 pm. Schools will be welcomed on Friday June 13 between 9.00 am and noon.
In addition to the major exhibition, several workshops for children and adults (photography, painting, lino-engraving, ceramics, cartooning…) will be led by well-known artists such as Katia Gonzalés, Michèle Chomereau-Lamotte, Philippe Virapin, Josélita Gayroso and Solen Cap, on Saturday and Sunday.
Artists and visitors are also invited to attend two major conferences entitled “Patronage and tax exemption in contemporary art” and “Manifesto for a color code”, on Friday 13 at the cruise terminal.
During the event, chats will also take place at Maison Victoire and Green Hostel around : “Self-portrait of the black body”, “Art market and diaspora” and “Design in emerging countries”.

In fact, the entire city of Pointe-à-Pitre will be live to the rhythm of the arts (day and evening), because several exhibitions will be organized in different venues: Diaspora, Maison Victoire, Art Ruche, Maison 24, Médiathèque municipale and Pavillon de la Ville.
Various prizes will be awarded to exhibiting artists: Affelou Award, Art Critic’s Award (IA-CA), Audience Award and Success Story Award.
The contemporary art fair, Pool Art Fair Guadeloupe, is a project of the Frère Independent association, that works to democratize art in the archipelago.
The organizers of this large cultural event are looking far ahead, and have already announced dates for 2026 (June 12, 13 and 14) and 2027 (June 18, 19 and 20).
