Brooklyn’s Eastern Parkway Labor Day Parade set the stage for a Soca Gold bashment!
The Barbados Tourism Board, VP Records, and radio station WBLS teamed with Sesame Flyers to bring parade-goers a star-studded musical presentation featuring; Edwin Yearwood, Kes and Shaggy, Tina (formerly Hood Celebrityy). The emcee Dahved Levy and DJs Funk Master Flex, Steelie Bashment, and DJ Spice rounded out the day with Hip-Hop, Dancehall, and Soca sounds. The annual celebration along Brooklyn’s Eastern Parkway was a celebration of Caribbean heritage and Island pride. (PLANET REGGAE)
