Winner of the“Great Literary Prize from the Association of Caribbean Writers” : Earl Lovelace, Trinidadian writer for his novel“It’s Just a Movie” (Faber and Faber – 2011)

Theme :“A collective epic, battles for freedoms”

Guest of honour : Russell Banks, US writer

Winner of the “Great Literary Prize from the Association of Caribbean Writers” : Edwige Danticat, essayist and author from Haiti, for her novel “Créer Dangereusement : l’Artiste immigrant à l’Oeuvre” (Grasset)

Theme : “Travels, migrations, diaspora in Caribbean literatures”

Guest of honour : Daniel Maximin, Guadeloupean writer
