Zik’in – made up of Virginie Olimé aka Krysstal and Frédéric Caracas – is releasing the video for its third song, “Avec le temps”, on Thursday July 3. Directed by Jean-Marc Yéponde, this audiovisual features the singer (not the musician) and presents beautiful images of our archipelago.
After “Si ou sikré”, the two Guadeloupean artists continue to explore zouk music, with the very smooth zouk-love variant and a touch of kompa at the end of the track. Although this new song is in French, the lyrics are in Creole.
“Avec le temps” “is a song about the challenges couples face in making their love last over time. The lyrics are a call to take care of that love and maintain it so that the relationship can last (…)”. The musical duo thinks this track is perfect to accompany our “summer holiday”, we prefer to say “these major July and August holidays” as this season does not exist in the Caribbean…
