Merenguero Jandy Ventura was invited to participate with his orchestra in the Christmas Lighting of the town of Juana Díaz in Puerto Rico, in a packet room in the Public Square that attracted the presence of thousands of Puerto Ricans who enjoyed the extensive repertoire of the Caballo Mayor.

Jandy, who presented El Legado (the Legacy) of Johnny Ventura, felt the affection that his father received on the of Enchanted Island, a land that he always considered his second homeland and precisely the last stage outside the country, which saw him present his 65-year career at Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot in 2019.

Héctor Banchy Serrano, leader of the group, took the opportunity to present Junior, Roberto del Castillo and Jandy Ventura the jackets they wore at the Ventura concert, where they were part of the artistic line-up that accompanied him. Each jacket symbolizes the respect and admiration for the man who now assumes the responsibility of continuing his father’s legacy by performing his music on the most important stages in the world.
