The “Expo d’Art” of the Festival International du Zouk is held until July 30

Like every year, in addition to music, song and dance, the Festival International du Zouk de Guadeloupe, FIZ (International Zouk Festival of Guadeloupe) honors plastic arts. The 15th edition of this major exhibition which brings together professional and amateur artists is held from July 22 to 30, 2022 at the Salle Édouard Chartol on the first floor of the Centre culturel Rémy Nainsouta in Pointe-à-Pitre.

This year, the organizers, including the sculptor Nicole Favières-Bourguignon, have chosen the theme of “Freedom” to celebrate this event, certainly because of the very slight break the Covid-19 pandemic gives us…

Four workshops are planned from July 26 to 28 to introduce visitors to paper mache, pastel, sculpture on glass, sculpture on earth (modeling of a head in clay).

The visit of the exhibition is free, all works are for sale.
