Nadine Goes Acoustic On The Queen Project

The acoustic ‘emotionalizer’ bares her soul on the song “Queen” Acoustic Version.

Nadine Sutherland – “Queen” (Acoustic)

Nadine Sutherland has re-released her powerful single “Queen” as an acoustic version in time for Mother’s Day. Taking to her Instagram page, and with acoustic accompaniment, Nadine introduced the new version by saying “It’s important for women to hear themselves in this song and feel they can relate to the story I’m telling”.

Acoustic “Queen” hears Nadine Sutherland unplugged and uncut, emoting the journeys women take throughout their lives. Going deeper, Nadine weaves the narrative that when you see a woman standing, half of her story has not, and probably will never be told about how she got her gems in her crown.

It’s a song I’ve poured my heart into. It’s about women who have gone through the wringer to be successful, who have been hit down and rise back up, and through it all women are Queens. She is you, because we’ve had so many similar journeys”, says Nadine.

Acoustic Queen was recorded and shot on location at Anchor Studios with Neil-Prince Halliburton on guitar and engineered by Delroy “Fatta” Pottinger. Accompanying the release of the acoustic single is an official music video recorded and shot on location at Anchor Recording Studios.
