Eddy Herrera celebrates Latin Grammy nomination

Happy and grateful, this is how Eddy Herrera received his nomination to the Latin Grammy in the category “Best Merengue Album” for his album “Eddy Herrera Now”, a production in which “El galán del merengue” composed several of the tracks of the material launched last year.

“What a joy, what happiness I am to receive the news of my nomination for a Latin Grammy in the category “Best Merengue Bachata Album”; happiness comes double because within all these months with the pandemic, situation, this is really magical and precise for me and a large team that is by my side at every moment and is working tenaciously, especially producers, arrangers, musicians, and sound technicians and all at SymphonicDistro. I share my nomination with everyone,” said the performer and composer.

“Eddy Herrera Ahora”, featured arrangements by Moisés Sánchez, Edwin García, Rosalbo Florián, Dary Dary and Eddy himself. Mixing and mastering were under the responsibility of Moisés Sánchez, Allan Leschhorn and Ramsés Alegría.

“For this album we had, as always, a great team that devoted itself entirely so that each track would have the quality with which we have always accustomed our audience whom I thank because without them none of this would have been possible”, added the singer who is preparing for his concert “Eddy Herrera Reloaded” on October 18.

The Latin Grammy ceremony, in its 21st edition, will be broadcast live on November 9 by Univision.
