The song has musical arrangements by renowned maestro Juan Valdez.

Captivated by one of our genres, the actor, singer and composer Fernando Allende renews his repertoire with the release of the single “Quiero bailar contigo”, a song that brings him closer to the Dominican community.
Known for his career as an actor, which includes film, television, production, direction, and theater, Fernando has decided to pay tribute to his Caribbean blood by venturing into tropical music.
“Quiero bailar contigo”, with musical arrangements by renowned maestro Juan Valdez, whose successful career guarantees the quality of this project, was recorded at the Polo Parra Studios in Santo Domingo. The single was written with his son Adán Allende, who also provided backing vocals.
“We made this song a few years ago and we really liked to sit at this white grand piano to compose together and this song came out, this is a song that the beloved maestro Juan Valdez accepted and decided that it was the right song to do and I told him that it would apply to a bachata, and he answered me as long as you agree to learn how to sing”, the artist said laughing.
The music video was shot in emblematic locations in the capital of the Dominican Republic in collaboration with ADN Bachata.
Allende, a legendary Mexican entertainment icon, known for honoring his country’s cultural identity, also through performances of ranchero classics, adopted bachata in his latest musical production.
“I love the identity of different peoples, their culture, their music, and in recent years I have visited countries in the Americas, Asia and Europe. I was amazed by the overwhelming power of the Dominican musical identity. Bachata has transcended language and distance to become a universal feeling. I must admit that I was seduced by bachata”, Allende said.
Fernando Allende starred in 13 soap operas, worked in 20 U.S. television series, appeared in more than 2,000 hours of television, acted in 35 films and played leading roles in 17 plays. He recorded 222 songs and dedicated 50 years of his life to helping those most in need.
