“Entre nosotros” is the first story to come out of the album.
The summer breeze brought with it “Historias”, the new album by Chilean David Deflores, where he shares a part of his life made in eight songs that mix various Latin styles and genres such as pop, soul, funk and afro.
Created between the beaches of Samana and Chile, this album produced in collaboration with Tunacola (Chile), has three guests: the Chileans Mati Santos and Vanessa Valdes, as well as the Colombian Daniela Rodriguez, who imbued the production with their art.
“Entre nosotros”, is the first song promoted by this Chilean who has enriched this album with a kind of musical smoothie by merging pop, soul and Brazilian funk in one track.
The video for the single, directed by Alberto Alepuz and produced by Pantera Films, was filmed in the idyllic Samaná Valley, one of the Dominican Republic’s best kept natural treasures.
What made this experience even more special was the collaboration of friends from different parts of the world, all residents of Samaná, who came together to create a unique visual work. The audiovisual offers an artistic concept that invites viewers to immerse themselves in a visual game full of magic. The choice of the look was crucial to tell the story with a rhythm and an aesthetics that prioritize simplicity and humor.
“We all have a story to tell, nature has a story just like the universe, it is a door that I opened to tell a part of me in song format and that everyone can recreate their story with each song”, said David. This artist fell in love with the beaches of Samaná, the place where he settled and from where he created a nest of art that made his creativity flourish in all the branches in which he works.
The musician plans to make a concert in the country, work on his next Afro album with Chilean musician Batarce and create some urban bachatas with Dominican artists.
