After a successful year during which both had the opportunity to take their respective comedy shows to various cities in the United States and Europe, Irving Alberti and Carlos Sánchez are joining forces to present “Entre Luca y Juan Mejía” (Between Luca and Juan Mejía) on December 25 at Escenario 360 at 8:00 p.m.
This show is the ideal proposal for lovers of good humor and fans of these two stars, who have established themselves as two of the country’s most respected and successful comedians.
“I’m happy to take the stage with Carlos. I know I’m going to have a , and the audience won’t stop laughing, because if every time we call each other after a show somewhere in the world, we spend two hours laughing, I imagine they’ll have to get us out of the theater after three hours”, said Alberti.
The show’s title stems from a funny self-definition: this duo doesn’t belong to the old guard of comedy pioneers, nor are they part of the new generation. Being just at the themselves in the intermediate point between maturity and relevance, they decided to name the show “Between Luca and Juan Mejía”.
“Irving has always been, for me, a role model in the world of Dominican entertainment and in how to practice this profession, and if you add to that the fact that I laugh a lot with him, well, this collaboration makes me very happy”, said Carlos Sánchez.
