Elvis Crespo elevates typical Dominican music in his album “Poeta Herío”

In this new production, the Puerto Rican works to take typical music around the world thanks to his collaborations with Toño Rosario, El Blachy, La Insuperable and Ebenezer Guerra.
Elvis Crespo 2Times Square was the epicenter where Elvis Crespo sparked a merengue release with the presentation of his new album “Poeta Herío”, a musical production in which the Puerto Rican elevates typical music with thanks to collaborations with the Dominicans Toño Rosario, La Insuperable and Ebenezer Guerra, with “Borrón y cuenta nueva” typical version and in the song “Me mataron” with El Blachy.

In a live concert in front of thousands of fans, Crespo surprised the crowd with his unmistakable voice that, when it resonated in New York’s iconic plaza, made people flock to the stage and start singing and dancing with every note in New York.

The concert included performances of classic and new hits, such as “Tu Sonrisa”, “Suavemente”, “Píntame” and the most emotional tracks from his new album such as “Que Fuerte”, and “Cora Roto”. With his characteristic energy and dedication full of feeling, Crespo transformed Times Square into a big tropical party, bringing together fans of all generations to the rhythm of his music.

Following his historic appearance at TSQ Live Time Square, Crespo returned to Spanish Harlem for the annual 116th Street Festival. In addition, as the “Godfather” of the National Puerto Rican Parade 2025 (NPRDP), Elvis celebrated Puerto Rican heritage with thousands of fans who gathered on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, on Sunday.

The album, which is now available on all platforms through Puntería Records and Sony Music Latin, marks a bold and deeply personal chapter in Crespo’s legendary career, working hand-in-hand with Nulife Entertainment.

Mixing love with disaffection, healing with vibrant rhythms and collaborations with Arcángel, Ivy Queen, Víctor Manuelle and more, the album captures the essence of lost and found love, all through the global vision of tropical sound of which Crespo has been the leader for more than twenty years.
