
The singer lands with “Guerrera”, her latest album.
Excited and happy, this is how Mireya feels, the Dominican-born American singer who will arrive this May 22 for the first time to present her musical proposal to the Dominican Republic with her new album “Guerrera”, as a cover letter.
The Latin Gammy winner for her group Flor de Toloache, will offer her first concert in Santo Domingo on May 22 at Casa de Teatro, where she will perform songs from her latest album “Guerrera”, composed of six songs, which will be available on vinyl.
“Un invierno”, is one of the songs in this production in collaboration with singer-songwriter Cristian Allexis, which will be performed live on the day of the concert by both artists.
“Although I have visited the country on multiple occasions, this is the first time I go officially to present my project and it is something that is iportant to me and enthusiastic. I want to connect with my land and show them my creations, which I have made with so much love”, said Mireya.
Mireya is the founder of Flor de Toloache, the New York’s first female Mariachi group, a project that goes hand in hand with her solo project.
She is also the creator of Mireya and the poor choices, a country music band that merges boleros and jazz songs with country music.
The singer, who will continue her U.S. tour after her stop in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has been nominated several times for both Latin Grammy and Grammy Awards.
