“Go Down Deh”, the song by dancehall queen Spice, certified Gold, Silver, and Platinum

Spice’s track “Go Down Deh”, featuring Shaggy and Sean Paul, continues to gain huge success around the world. Indeed, the dancehall queen’s song was certified Silver in the United Kingdom on Friday, January 2, 2026. The British Phonographic Industry awarded her this plaque, which represents sales and streaming of over 200,000 units.

In July 2025, Jamaican singer had won her first “Gold Record” in France, certifying that “Go Down Deh” had registered 100,000 units according to the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP). For his part, it was the 6th time that Sean Paul was awarded in France by the SNEP.

In October 2024, in Canada, Spice had received a Platinum record for “Go Down Deh”. The track had surpassed 80,000 units in sales and streaming, according to Music Canada.

Produced by Shaggy and Constantin “Costi Ionita”, “Go Down Deh” had become the biggest dancehall hit of the decade so far, collecting more than 280 million views on YouTube (now, 343 million) and 240 million streams on Spotify at the time.

“Go Down Deh” appears on Spice’s debut album “10”, released by VP Records in August 2021, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best Reggae Album” category.
