A timid carnival of Mid-Lent

About ten groups (Mass LaPwent, Tonshi Mass, Toumblack, Le Point d’Interrogation, Klé La, Nasyon a Nèg Mawon, Guimbo All Stars, Akiyo, VIM etc.) paraded this Thuesday in the streets of Pointe-à-Pitre from 7:00 pm until very late at night. Although the traditional colors are red and black to celebrate the carnival of Mid-Lent, some “carnavaliers” wore other colors. The crowd was not very large.
