After explaining in a documentary why he remained silent for nine years about his departure from the famous compas band CaRiMi, Carlo Vieux has relaunched his career as an artist. In November 2025, Haitian keyboardist and singer released his first solo album, simply titled “Carlo”. He is currently promoting the song “Prèmyé Swa” (First Night) – performed in Haitian Creole and English – a beautiful love story between a man and a woman that begins from the moment they first met. Released on January 21, the music video, that was shot in Miami (where the artist lives), has already been viewed more than 130,000 times. It’s a real winning comeback for Carlo Vieux, judging by the many positive comments.
