Every year, our BIFF poster sets the tone for the season and this year’s design invites you to pull up a chair by the sea and watch the world go by. We’re proud to introduce the artist behind it: Kevin Mirsky.
Born in Mill Valley, California in 1967, Kevin is a Northern California based writer, illustrator, and creative whose work offers a humble, clever look at the world around us. He works across a variety of mediums, producing commercial work for major brands, original art pieces, and limited-edition prints.
His illustrations have been shown in galleries throughout California and New York, featured in magazines, and permanently displayed in hotels. As a commercial illustrator, he’s collaborated with companies including Birkenstock, Yeti, IPD Surf, Carve Designs, and Caddis Life Eyewear.
For the 21st Annual Bahamas International Film Festival, Kevin brings that same warmth and wit to a scene that captures exactly what BIFF is about: great film, island ease, and a front-row seat to something special.
